Challenge

Organising the first edition of an international tennis tournament is quite a challenge — dealing with the lack of photo materials, familiarising participants with the brand, and starting from zero with social media channels.

Solution

Activities in social media were supported by the advertising budget, thanks to which we passed information about the event to tennis fans all over Poland. Dedicated posts were directed to the residents of the Tri-City and tourists who went on holiday to the seaside during the tournament. On Instagram we reported the course of the tournament on an ongoing basis, conducted surveys in which one could bet on match winners and encouraged people to use #sopotopen. The best posts of the participants of the event were made available in the Sopot Open channels. In total, the published content on Facebook has reached over 750,000 recipients.
